You got style!

and i mean it. for this to be a first track on newgrounds its much better then what i was expecting. most of the time it is one night stand project with fl that has very bad kicks and mastering.

You Have:
Very clean sounds = very important in my book
great progression and transitions.

keep it up!
and ill see you around

Dig1talDam4g3 responds:

Wow :] that review made me feel pretty good xD thanks for listening! I love reading feedback. Yea, i agree with you, sometimes the first place song isn't very deserving of its status (sorry to anyone else reading this, but that's just my honest opinion) Unfortunately I lost my first place status as of 7:06 PM :[ I guess people like to eliminate their competition :\

and I'll listen to any of your songs too, If you've posted any (if not then send me a message when you do, if you do :] )

Thanks again :D

This is your best track!

that I have heard from you so far.

mastering needs to be perfected but your direction, story and feel is all there. Transitions are beautiful.

keep it up!

and yes if you wrote this in fl studio I am willing to master it for you or start a new collab project let me know when you want to begin.

Decibel responds:

Thanks, It means a lot, The mastering doesn't need to be perfected, it just simply needs mastering because, I dunno how the hell to do it =P
The transitions were very good in my opinion and were the thing that kept me up late nighhts thinking what i should do, and it's relieving to hear someone say it.

I'd like to start a new collab project, yeah, just PM me at any time, I'm always free except f@£$% school and HW :P

Thanx again

Great first attempt

Alright here you go for the constructive thoughts

alright drums need to be louder and clearer. the bass shouldnt be stomping over them but accenting them.

when you start drop the drums in with a roll to say to the listener get ready for this i have something i want you to bow too.

next when the piano comes in make it an explosion and cut the drums and introduce them very clear and dynamically then roll drums back in to the patterns you already wrote.

and have the piano cascade to a side chain along with the drums so they can still be in for ground with strong drums.

I can hear this becoming a masterpiece. any questions or help pm me anytime. been writing music for 7 years now

DjClyme responds:

wow! thx for the pointers! this will be quite helpful!

Simply ... Pro!

Send me a pm when this track is complete and I would also like to know how you built the track like what program and all that stuff.

Keep it up man!

SteakJohnson responds:

will do! final vers is almost done and thanks!

Cool Sytrus!

Your going somewhere in this track I like the sounds created and all.

But you didn't push the envelope and i think that is why the track isnt reaching stardome.

its good to see your still working on music man!

pm me sometime and we can talk.

Everlasting-Elements responds:

What do you mean by pushing the envelope?

Awesome work!

great progression totally feels like the era of 8-bit times too

Pushbar responds:

Thanks :)

Style = #1

lower your main opening synth just a tad

drop your bass volume down a lil also.

clean up your drums so they are more clearly heard.

Do that and you got yourself an awesome track!!
and maybe a background perididle to complement all the long sounds to the drum breaks more fluently. so that the user feels the track as one solid whole.

Jam on and you know where to contact me

nameless11 responds:

Yeah those drums are sounding pretty rough XD. Good to hear from you, be sure to check out my new idm track at your leisure.

Nice style!

Haven't heard some clean fresh DnB on NG in a while your track is off to a great start. let me know when the final version is done.

some reverb would make your synth that you originally start the track with sound so much more epic. also your track is a little treble heavy. your energy in the track is what makes it sound real good with nice transitions.

Keep it up let me know when you finish And I will give a second review.

interested in collab let me know. this year I plan to do a collab and remix album.

SteakJohnson responds:

thanks and yea im interested in collab in the future
